Hi Forum Readers!
It is probably obvious, but we began the task of moving the old posts from the old Forum. I asked for help, and William Holohan volunteered. He has been a trooper working on it. After seeing his name on every post, he asked and we set him temporarily up as Site Man.
We all owe him a pat on the back for a job well done...so far he had move quite a bit of the old forum. I got tied up on another couple of projects and have just been helping fix links and reducing the size of a few images. I hope people will keep the images down to about 400 pixels width, but some are 2000 pixels. Yikes!
Once we get all the posts moved over, I can selectively prune the time sensitive posts. When it is all moved over, I can delete the old BB and clear up a little space on that server. Best of all, the new posts can be easily searched for key words such as Asphaltum, Varnish, Angel Gild, Shellac, and so forth.
Again, thanks to William Holohan and everyone else that helps me with the site. If anyone made a post last week that has now been bumped down to the second or third page, you can go find it and add a "bump" post if you want to see it stay on the front page a while longer.

Looks like Danny Baronian has cleared out some spare time to help transfer posts. Thanks to both of them now!
