Conclave 25 !!!

Well it's hard to beleave that its over and that it's been going on for 25 years We gotta thank Rick Glawson for getting it started but it's this hardy group of fools that just can let it die. It was as always 4 days of fun and friendship that helps keep us coming together to create what turned out to be one of the coolist projects yet. John Studden and Dean Ross created the art work . I'm sure some of us , myself for sure will be trying to figuire out how to finish for awhile.
We had a new special guest from Golden leaf products Jim Harris join us. Jim brought enough gold leaf for everyone to gild their projects. Thanks again Jim !!
Thanks to everyone who made it, to those that couldn't for what ever the reason I wish you a great new year !

For me it started back in the 80's.
We all got to earn some money.
Last night I read the article published in the Sign Business Magazine about the "Sweet named Desire" job.
In the article they said that eventhough they want to do goldleaf jobs everyday, goldleafing was only about 1% of their work.

I received what I thought was a new box of Gold leaf from Jim at Golden Leaf. Inside I found a CD with photos of the Conclave. At first i was disappointed till I viewed the photo and all the fun we had.

you're giving me WAY too much credit....I'm still wrestling with which end of the hairy stick I should put in the paint can. I went looking on the internet to see if there were any interesting ideas out there, and I found something that was similiar to this...but needed some changes. At any rate, I took these ideas to a guy I met here in Phoenix and he did a great job in putting this together for me...glad you like it!
