If you are looking for a very private textured etch pattern, try glue chipping a design into your glass, then frost it in your sandblast booth again. It creates a very cool textured frost.
I did this once when we had some glass get contaminated and the glue didn't stick in certain spots. It just dried and peeled right off some of the sandblasted areas. I frosted the glass again to clean off the contamination but had to frost all the glue chipped areas again. It looked really good, but I never got a photo of it.
