OLD FORUM POSTS

Posted by Raymond Chapman on March 05, 2004
Today I was going through some old credit card statements trying to gather some information for tax purposes.

One Visa charge just jumped of the paper. It was to Esoteric for $78.91. The date was February 5, 2003. It was the last time that I had talked to Rick on the phone and he was asking if I was coming to the Conclave, and I had to say that I was too busy but promised to make it the next year.

I'm going to keep that receipt as a reminder of the friendly voice on the other end of the line and also to remind myself not to put off the important things.

Fred's Letterhead gathering is next week in Oklahoma City. At last year's meet Fred was talking about how excited he was to have been able to attend the Conclave just the month before. Little did we know that in just a few days The Boss would be gone.

Don't forget to tell the special people in your life how special they are...before it's too late.
Mike Jackson - March 10th
Hi Raymond,
I didn't know when to make the post, but this looks like a good time to mention it. On March 10th last year, we got the sad news about Rick. I think I can collectively say was all miss him.

I've personally had countless time to remember Rick over the past year. A lot of that, of course, has to do with keeping this board going and growing and having contact with so many people who knew him.

Say Hi to Fred and all the rest at Fred's meet next week.

Best wishes,
Mike Jackson
