Back From Spring Break to find a mess

I have been out of town with the kids for Spring Break.

I sent off a note to Canaca, and received this while out of town:

We applied a patch from phpBB site for the current installation instances of the forum on that server, but the index.php is corrupted in:
/var/www/html
If you have a backup of that page, please upload it again, if not, please create another instance of phpBB and we will transfer the phpBB databases over to this new forum that you will install and customize

Sounds like I have a lot of work to do.

I managed to get a note off to Canaca today. After a few exchanges, it looks like they are going to update this forum with their newest "attack" resistant version. You might see it revert back to the older appearance for a day or so, but I will try to upload the MSsimplicity Template and all the new buttons later.

Cross our fingers... knock on wood...looks like Canaca upgraded the php BB with the newer software. According to what I read, it plugs the worm hole causing the problems. It took quite a few emails, but hopefully we are back up and running. Danny said they got it working a couple of times while I was out, but after an hour or two, it had the worm message again.
