Does anyone know where I can buy a pt.of fat oil size ? I can only find the 8-12 hr. The fat oil has a 24-36 hr open time ,I use itfor exterior long term exposure. thanks.

The two places I could suggest right now would be Sepp Leaf and also Art Essentials of NY. Both advertise in most of the trade magazines.

Good luck,

Mike Jackson - LeFranc 12 heur size
We always found LeFranc 12 Heur Size to take a lot longer than 12 hours to get to the right tack, even in our dry climate. Along with that, we found it hard to keep dust out of the size if we tried to extend the period too long. On the plus side, the "window" for gilding was longer.

Good luck,
