I received a catalog today from a company that has cast iron, brass, and aluminum posts, brackets, and other elements that might come in handy on some custom signs.

Check it out. They have an 800 number and will send a catalog.

King Architectural Metals

I too have ordered from King & been very pleased with the price, service & product. They also carry forged steel parts for hanging brackets & such. Another company I have used is Crescent City Iron Supply. They are also a good resource for decorative elements for Iron brackets.
1-800-535-9842. They have locations in Westchester, IL & Kenner, LA.
Thanks for the reminder Mike, I have a design to do today & one of those elements would do just the trick.

I've ordered several things from them over the years and was always pleased with the service and the quality of the their products.

A similiar company is Outwater Plastics

Glad you got home safely, Mike. I think the Denver bunch were stuck in California - maybe got to go home today.

I received a catalog last week and placed an order yesterday for a couple of scroll pieces for a sign decoration. Received it today (very quick) and I am please with the pieces. The page you show doesn't show all the scrolls in my catalog. The prices are different too. #45-23B-CI is $4.98 in my catalog. Still, it's a good source for metal ornaments. Thanks for posting it.

Ray,
I just grabbed one page off the decorative iron section, but you can view the extensive on-line catalog at their site.

There are rossettes, balls, cones, posts, and other interesting elements if you browse around.

I got that catalog today too. They must have some mailing list. Looks like interesting stuff.
Mike - re you getting snow from this storm that dumped on Denver?
Mike Jackson
Hi Carol,
I flew back from LA with Noel and landed in Boise, then drove 350 miles back back home to Jackson Hole. I had heard of the Denver area storm and it had my attention, but all I had to deal with was the harsh winds. Apparently, the storm went south of us. Bill and Sue Hueg were headed back direct to Denver, right into the storm. I doubt they made it yesterday. We had a very warm, pleasant Spring like day here today.

We missed seeing you at the funeral.
