Catharine,
Can you explain some more. Is that on a larger piece of glass, or cut to pattern shape? Was the black line screen printed and fired in a kiln, or air dry ink?
I can see the textile through the colors, what part if any was gilded, or what are gilding colors exactly?
Its a nice piece, I'm curious to know more.

The full size is 12" x 16". The cloth behind it is just to show up the glue chipping.
The gilding at the bottom is 23 k, lemon gold and verigated gold. The black lines are my first successful silk screening. The colors are 1-shot.

Cat, that is one pretty practice piece! I love how you did the chipping in stripes like that.
