Our fifth Router Magic Workshop is now history in Yarrow...
What a workshop!! As much as we plan and prepare, ultimately its the folks who attend who determine the success and content of the event.
We had a wonderful group from diverse locations - Raymond Chapman from Texas, Gary Anderson from Indianna, Rene Giroux from Quebec, Noella Cotnam from Ontario, Henry Barker from Sweden, Marcus Goebels and Manfred Didier from Germany, Duncan Wilkie from Alberta, Doug Allan from Hawaii and so many more... 22 creative folks in all, plus our own crew!
We laughed constantly and learned TONS from each other. It was truly an event to remember!
THANKS to all who made it so GREAT!!!

Isn't it great to love what love what you do and do what you love!
Raymond has a wonderful sense of humor... and is always and instantly willing to have a little fun.
One of our side diversions during the workshop was to do a little golfing at Giggle Ridge Adventure Golf... There were plenty of fun moments... and this shot captures a tiny bit of the fun...
Plenty more to come from Yarrow...

Henry was always a bit dodgy at driving,I'm suprized they let him behind the wheel. (hope Raymond was ok)
Sure looks like you had a good time and made some great works of art.

There are not enough words to describe what a very special weekend we had at Dan's. Certainly all of us came home with tons of new technical information but the still greater advantage of taking Dan's workshop is the association of so many talented folks. You see from the photo that just a bunch of creative folks were in that studio for a few days.
And laughter. What a fun time was had by all. It's refreshing to know that you can just be yourself and still be accepted. It's also very dangerous when your mind works like mine does.
Even with all the master sign makers there, ego was never a problem. Everyone came to share.
It was indeed a world class event. A great learning and inspirational experience in a peaceful, pretty little community. A terrific collection of talented, energetic folks. Not just sign people either, 3 specialists from Enroute including the software developer, Kellie from Precision Board and local folks and family that helped feed and take care of all of us.
Dan's wife Janis is a pillar of strength, organization and kindness. Their daughter Bec is a dynamo and such a talent at painting.
The venue and setting is like a dreamworld. "Over the Top" barely describes this event.
Thanks, Dan, you did a fine job too.
